Natural Gas Gathering & Processing

With strategically located plants in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, SemGas® offers producers low pressure field services, processing and competitive markets with over 800 miles of gathering pipeline.

We also have several skid-mounted natural gas processing plants that can be rapidly deployed to meet our customers’ needs. This equipment has been designed to be up and running within days, rather than months, to handle the changing market.

In Kansas, the SemGas gathering system includes a treating plant that is the only nitrogen rejection/helium recovery option in the area, allowing producers to exploit low butane resource plays.

Our Sherman plant is in north-central Texas. It is a refrigerated, lean-oil plant with 22 MMcfd capacity and 400 miles of low-pressure gathering pipeline. NGLs are sold by truck, and residue gas is delivered into the Atmos Pipeline.

In northern Oklahoma we have two plants. In Nash, Oklahoma we have a cryogenic plant with 15 MMcfd capacity and 35 miles of gathering pipeline. Our second plant is in Hopeton, Oklahoma. It is a 15 MMcfd refrigeration plant with 20 miles of low-pressure gathering pipeline. Both plants are connected to the OneOK NGL pipeline network. Residue gas is delivered into the Southern Star Pipeline and Panhandle Eastern Pipeline respectively.

In eastern Oklahoma, our Eufaula pipeline system gathers, dehydrates and compresses gas. This system was originally built to serve the coalbed methane development area between the North Canadian and South Canadian Rivers. The pipeline consists of a 12 inch-steel mainline and several miles of 8-inch, 6-inch and 4-inch laterals, for a total of 45 miles, and delivers gas into Engex Pipeline.
