Profile

As part of the U.S. energy industry’s midstream segment, SemGas® provides infrastructure that helps gather gas from the wellhead and moves it to the marketplace. The company offers customers natural gas gathering, processing and marketing services.

We own and operate over 985 miles of gathering pipelines in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas and three processing plants in Sherman, Texas; Nash, Oklahoma and Hopeton, Oklahoma with 223 million cubic feet per day of capacity.

The Sherman plant is in north-central Texas. It is a refrigerated, lean-oil plant with over 400 miles of high/low-pressure gathering pipeline. In northern Oklahoma, we have cryogenic plants with a total capacity of 200 MMcf/d which includes the recently completed 125 MMcf/d cryogenic processing unit. Our northern Oklahoma assets also include 200 miles of gathering pipeline.

With approximately 380 miles of pipeline, our Kansas pipeline system located in south central Kansas gathers. In eastern Oklahoma, our Eufaula pipeline system gathers, dehydrates and compresses gas. This system was originally built to serve the coalbed methane development area between the North Canadian and South Canadian Rivers. The pipeline consists of a 12 inch-steel mainline and several miles of 8-inch, 6-inch and 4-inch laterals, for a total of 63 miles.
