Profile

As part of the U.S. energy industry’s midstream segment, SemGas® provides infrastructure that helps gather gas from the wellhead and moves it to the marketplace. The company offers customers natural gas gathering, processing and marketing services.

We own and operate over 980 miles of gathering pipelines in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas and three processing plants in Sherman, Texas; Nash, Oklahoma and Hopeton, Oklahoma with 98 million cubic feet per day of capacity.

The Sherman plant is in north-central Texas. It is a refrigerated, lean-oil plant with over 400 miles of high/low-pressure gathering pipeline. In northern Oklahoma, we have a cryogenic plant and a refrigeration plant with a total capacity of 75 MMcfd and approximately 200 miles of gathering pipeline. We are currently constructing an additional 125 MMcfd cryogenic processing unit.

With approximately 380 miles of pipeline, our Kansas pipeline system located in south central Kansas gathers, dehydrates and compresses gas. In eastern Oklahoma, our Eufaula pipeline system also gathers, dehydrates and compresses gas. This system was originally built to serve the coalbed methane development area between the North Canadian and South Canadian Rivers. The pipeline consists of a 12 inch-steel mainline and several miles of 8-inch, 6-inch and 4-inch laterals, for a total of 63 miles.
