Profile

As part of the U.S. energy industry’s midstream segment, SemGas® provides infrastructure that helps gather gas from the wellhead and move it to the marketplace. The company offers customers natural gas gathering, processing, and marketing services.

We own and operate 800 miles of gathering pipelines in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas and processing plants in Sherman, Texas; Nash, Oklahoma and Hopeton, Oklahoma.

The Sherman plant is in north-central Texas. It is a refrigerated, lean-oil plant with 22 MMcfd capacity and 400 miles of low-pressure gathering pipeline. In Nash, we have a cryogenic plant with 15 MMcfd capacity and 35 miles of gathering pipeline. Our plant in Hopeton is a 15 MMcfd refrigeration plant with 20 miles of low-pressure gathering pipeline.

In eastern Oklahoma, our Eufaula pipeline system gathers, dehydrates and compresses gas. This system was originally built to serve the coalbed methane development area between the North Canadian and South Canadian Rivers. The pipeline consists of a 12 inch-steel mainline and several miles of 8-inch, 6-inch and 4-inch laterals, for a total of 45 miles.
